Soon afterward, John began working as the Campaign Director on Project Brabham – the biggest successfully crowdfunded sports team at the time. Not only did the project successfully raise over £250,000, it also got endorsements from legends of the sport, such as Sir Jackie Stewart, Sir Stirling Moss, and John Surtees.
More importantly, these projects demonstrated the power of the crowd. Not only can your tribe help you get funded, they buy-in to your vision, helping you get the word out and offering valuable time, skills, and resources.
And so, the idea for TribeFirst was born.
With his ear to the ground, John set about forming his tribe – pulling in expertise across marketing, design, copywriting, finance, and branding. The result is a dedicated yet flexible team who are aligned around the outcomes you’d like to achieve.
Since our inception, we’ve worked on a wide variety of both equity and reward-based crowdfunding campaigns – from artificial reefs to surgical robot assistants, futuristic light displays to on-demand air taxis. Take a look at our case studies.
Crowdfunding isn’t just a great way of raising essential funds for a new business idea, it’s also an opportunity to reward people who believe in your ideas, building lifelong fans from day one.
